Would you actually use something like this or am I overthinking how stressful assignments are
ok so every time I have an assignment due I end up with like 40 tabs open. google scholar in one. chatgpt in another. grammarly. some citation formatter I found on reddit. my rubric pdf somewhere. turnitin just sitting there making me anxious. a paraphrasing site covered in ads.
and none of these things talk to each other. I'm just copying and pasting between all of them losing my mind. and chatgpt forgets everything so every single time I have to re-explain my entire dissertation from scratch.
been thinking about what it would look like if there was just ONE place that did everything. like imagine this:
you upload your rubric and it scores your work against each criterion and tells you where you're dropping marks. like actually says "your critical analysis is 22/30, add counter-arguments and that's +6 marks in about 3 hours"
it checks your work for AI detection patterns paragraph by paragraph BEFORE you submit so you can fix anything that looks sus
you paste your supervisor's feedback and it tells you in plain english what they actually mean and what to do about it
it finds academic sources and formats them properly in whatever style you need
if you get a grade you think is wrong it analyses your work against the rubric and drafts an appeal email with evidence
and the big one , it actually remembers everything. your topic, your module, your deadline, what you worked on last week. so you never have to re-explain anything. like 6 months of memory
basically an academic operating system where everything is in one chat
would you lot actually use something like this or is it just me who feels like the current tools are all half baked? genuinely asking because I can't tell if this is a real problem or if I'm just bad at organising myself lol
