Contax RX or RXII?

I've been looking at both the RX and RXII - I know the focus assist function was removed from the RXII but apart from that there doesn't seem to be much difference between the 2 cameras.

I already have a Yashica FX3 Super 2000 with the Zeiss 35-70mm f3.4 but the look of the Contax SLR's make me want to pick one up.

There are a ton of RX's for sale on Ebay which is maybe not such a great sign - not many RXII's for sale.

Does anyone have experience share with either of these or both of these? TIA
