The Batman - Part II Story Details

- The film won’t feature Batman much and will focus primarily on Bruce Wayne. His growth, his relationships and his psyche will be the focus.

- Harvey Dent, played by Sebastian Stan, will be the emotional anchor of the story. He and Bruce have been best friends since childhood, and they finally reconnect when the former is appointed District Attorney.

- Scarlett Johansson will play investigative journalist Vicki Vale, who works for The Gotham Gazette. She takes on the job of reporting on Dent’s first big case as DA; exposing Penguin’s drug empire, and it’s supposed ties to Arkham State Hospital. She also becomes suspicious and intrigued by Bruce Wayne’s sudden public reemergence, after years of reclusiveness.

- Penguin will appear in a few scenes, with one being of major importance and will leave lasting consequences.

- The main villain will be Dr. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow, a role that was initially offered to Brad Pitt. Crane is said to be portrayed as older, charismatic and trustworthy.

- Riddler and Joker will appear, but won’t have substantial roles.

- Dick Grayson will also appear, but only in the first and third acts of the film.
