Will I fail the PO vetting if I declare my bf being in prison?

I have applied for a position as a prison officer but for a female prison.

I know integrity is part of the process so I’m going to declare my partner in the process. I’m sort of hoping that because it’s a women’s prison and my partner is male and in a men’s jail that they won’t be too harsh, especially because I’ve declared it.

I met my current partner whilst he was out on license and he recently got recalled.

I have a clean DBS. Never been in trouble or had police runnings. Not in any financial debt and never have been. I have a degree in children’s nursing and have held jobs where I’ve worked with children and never compromised confidentiality or the confidence of the public.

Not to mention I don’t know anyone other than my partner that has been to prison.

My social media is set to private plus there’s nothing compromising on there anyway.

Please can I have some advice and guidance?
