I (27f) had really bad anxiety my whole life. Like very physical in the pit in your stomach kind of way. I was in a relationship for all of 2024 that had me feeling like that every day—it almost like it fried my system. In 2025 I experienced the traumatic loss of a close friend and spent most of the year severely depressed.

Now, I’ve noticed that when I wld usually feel “anxious” about something (that pit in your stomach, heart palpitations feeling), I instead feel sick. really nauseous like I am going to throw up (sometimes I do). But that’s it, the thing I normally felt as “anxiety” is few and far between. It took me a moment to even realize it was caused by anxiety bc I just thought I was getting stomach bugs lol. Has none else experienced this? I almost feel like my body got rewired by grief in this weird way. Curious to know other ppls takes and experiences.
