The Flashback bitcoin episode was so well done!!!!!!!! (Season 11 ep 9)

I had no idea how they were able to make LEONARD LOOK YOUNG AGAIN, like he actually aged a lot I just could y tell until I look back on it… then I realized for the first time ever that Leonard actually had changed glasses over the seasons much like Amy.

It’s like the writers knew that they had changed the series too much and it didn’t feel like BBT anymore but HOW DID THEY MAKE IT FEEL LIKE IT AGAIN?!!

I was waiting for this one in particular on my current rewatch.

And anytime the nerds have to get something from an ex of Penny’s and lose their pants feels like a callback to the pilot on purpose and I always appreciate that.

Howard in the later seasons imo completely lost his buddy buddy friendship with Raj that he was so known for. I know Howard’s life changed for the better and he needed to be a fully attentive husband but that doesn’t explain how he seems to treat Raj like he’s below him when he comes over to help with the baby. Yes, Howard mocked him the whole series. Yes they still hung out a lot. Yes Howard didn’t need to be Rajs whisper in the ear translator after season six, but it felt like Howard knew Raj less as time went on. And this flashback confirmed the sharp contrast, a thing I particularly dislike in sitcom.
