International women's bullshit

Every year my work does a vote for your most inspirational women award for international women's day. And it's a whole thing, then they do nothing for international men's day. And I can't help but feel like its pandering bullshit. I don't want an award for just being a woman I want to recognised my skills and hard work. I want equal job opportunities in the work place. I don't want be surrounded by men waving their dicks and talking about how hard they banged their wife as the ONLY female employee in my department. I don't want a big celebration every year for being born with a vagina.
