Question on the first Prototype game

Just a quick question, does anyone remember being able to pick up a bus in the first Prototype game. I remember distinctly picking up a bus and throwing it at Elizabeth green when I first played it in 2012, but when I replayed now as a 24 year old, I'm unable to pick it up.

I played it on my friends ps3 back then, I asked him and he said he remembers being able to pick a bus up aswell in the game.
