The Performers
People like us are willing to go inimaginable lengths just to prove a point. An idea they once believed existed. Crossing boundaries that once felt imposible. Even if it meant compromising your own life and the ones around you. Us "performers" just think for the moment. We know what to say and how to say it. We navigate through life with eyes blindfolded believing we have something valuable to offer the world. We have tricked ourselves into believing pain is something we can carry as a pennant or as some sort of currensy we can then exchange for empathy. And we think we deserve special treatment for it. We don't believe in putting down the effort needed to acomplish whatever we chose to believe we want. We do not respect other peoples boundaries. Only thing we care about is self indulgence. And attention. We do not have any idea of the harms we cause by just caring about our own "needs". We do not fit anywhere because there is always a fire that follows us and burns everything we touch. We project whatever fits right for the ocation. We always have a "shadow" to blame for the consecuences of our own desitions and actions instead of becoming responsable for them and actually have the initiative to change. There is always a reason to justify our wrongdoings. But never an intention to not repeat. We are self centered. We believe our own fairy tales even when the truth is very clear for everyone out there to see. We thrive on self pitty. We find missery joyfull. We monetise our own missery. We have magnified the way we percieve ourselves to a point of unmeasurable pride. We are dangerous and we cause great discomfort upon those who get to know our true persona. We are not actors. We are the performers of our own designed fantasy world. A world we create to fit for ourselves only. When everything else arround us has clearly fallen appart. And everybody else can see it except us. We go way to far. There is no words that can describe the emptyness and sadness we have put ourselves through. There is no more hope. Only thing left for us is to keep the performance going. A highly uncomfortable comedy. Wich everyone else seems to enjoy.
