Should I take a gap year for Oxford...?

I am an EU student and I applied for PPE at Oxford this year and rejected after the interview.

I am currently considering whether to take a gap year (as I was born in 2009).

I scored 65/77 on the TSA and 67 in the interviews. (For my college, the average for shortlisted candidates is 66 and for those who receive offers it’s 70) that’s surprisingly high given how disastrous I felt the interviews were. I think I can improve my interviews...

Would reapplying to Oxford after a gap year be interesting? Additionally, is it possible to reapply while being enrolled at a university in another country during that year?
