Questions for current PTs (as a third year PT student)!!

Hi!! I am a third year PT student and would love to hear some input from current practicing clinicians of all levels of experience in all settings on what practicing/transitioning from student to working PT, so I have developed this set of interview-type questions to post on here and get as many answers as possible! You don't have to answer every single one if you don't want to, and if you would rather DM me that works too! All I ask if that you include your setting, how long you've been practicing, and if you have any manger or director experience! Thank you in advance for the answers!! :)

  * What was the hardest part about transitioning from a student to a clinician?
  * How did your place of work help this transition? Did they provide you with any resources? How did they ease you into a caseload?
  * What was something you ended up doing differently than what they taught you in school?
  * What did you feel like you needed mentoring for the most when you started work?
  * Did you have a single mentor, or more like a group of people that came together to mentor you? Did you have to request mentoring or did your job offer it?
  * Tell me about a time that you had to manage conflict in the clinic. How did it go the first time versus the most recent time? 
  * What is your experience with varying productivity expectations?
  * What are some tips and tricks that you have for staying on top of productivity?
  * What are your opinions and experience with support staff, such as rehab aides/techs, PTAs, and OTs if you have worked with them?
  * How do you ensure that you are up to date on the most recent evidence-based practice?
  * What helps you constantly improve yourself as a clinician?
  * What is the most successful step or habit that you have taken to maintain a healthy work/life balance? How long did it take for you to get the hang of things?
  * Was there any job responsibility that surprised you or that you did not expect?
  * What advice can you give future PTs on balancing patient care with the other aspects of your job, such as documentation, CEUs, and scheduling?
