California native alternative to Chinese Privet

I've just moved into a house that has 3 chinese privets in the back yard. One is quite large, the other has lots of fruits on it, and the third is still a sapling.

The birds really love the fruit. I'd like to keep the birds coming by and replace these trees with a california native than can hopefully help the surrounding area. The area does not get a lot of sun. The house is in fremont.

Do you have a good recommendation of a native replacement for these trees?
