First yeast infection and still have weird discharge
Hey everyone, this is my first time dealing with something like this and I'm a bit confused. About 20 days ago I had itching, burning, and a thick white cottage-cheese-like discharge, so I thought it was a yeast infection. I got KadeFungin clotrimazole cream and suppositories, but the next day I started my period, so I could only use the cream and couldn't use the suppositories.
After my period, the itching, burning, and thick discharge went away. But during ovulation, I noticed more discharge than usual. Along with the normal egg-white discharge, I started having a creamy, odorless white discharge. Now ovulation is over, but the creamy discharge still hasn't stopped. I still get occasional itching and burning.
Could it be that the yeast infection didn't fully clear because I didn't use the suppositories? Or did the cream maybe mess with my vaginal flora and now my body is just trying to rebalance itself?
This is my first yeast infection, so I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences or any advice.
