Need advice on situation
Alright hello there story time. (31m)
During Covid I was living on my own and young. (25m then). I was making around 60k a year in account management in sales. They docked our pay 25% and eventually got laid off. I got a job for a year making $15/hr at the hospital. Obviously this was EXTREMELY hard for me to budget for at the time and I definitely could have done a better job trying to tame my life style but losing half my income over night was tough
Fast forward to now. I’m back to making around 96k in salary and 6% annual bonus coming up in march. I bring home roughly 2.5k every two weeks. Expected bonus is going to be 4k. I just feel like I can’t catch up. I currently a lot myself $200 every two weeks. I barely eat out unless it’s at work for lunch which is roughly $8. I am trying to put some money away for a house and rainy day. I’ll be moving back into my parents with my fiance in April to house hunt this winter/fall. Moving in with them will save me 885/rent and about $350 in utilities a month.
Question is: how cooked am I? Balances below:
USAA
PERSONAL LOAN: 31K($695 a month)
Credit card: 7.2k (180 a month)
Best egg
Personal loan: 9k (298 a month)
Discover
Credit card: 17.5k (350 a month)
Citi
Credit card: 2.1k (60 a month)
Us bank (0% apr for now)
Credit card: 2k (a month)
Other expensive is my car at $398 a month, gas for a 26 mile commute, and that’s it.
