Is there a way I can get my Canadian grandmothers birth records with contacting my parents/aunts?

Citizenship by Descent

My grandmother was born in Alberta in 1929, and my dad was born in Colorado in 1967. Based on this, I'm confident that I'm eligible for a citizenship certificate. But I need their birth certificates for the application. I'm pretty sure I can order my dad's from Colorado because I'm an immediate family member. The issue is with getting my grandma's. Alberta's website says that next of kin can order a birth document, and grandchildren are not considered next of kin. I do not see another option that I would qualify for that would allow me to order it.

Is there a way I can get a copy without contacting my parents?
