MATH3202

Heya!

I am interested in taking operations research (MATH3202) but don't have a lot of programming experience. Some of the problems that are covered look quite interesting to me mathematically.

For people who have done or tutored the subject, do you think I could be okay if I spent some time learning basic Python? I can use LaTeX so am familiar with the idea of syntax but yeah I realise LaTeX isn't quite the same thing. 🤣

The maths courses I have done so far are: MATH1051, MATH1052, MATH1061, MATH2001 and MATH2302 and I have scored well in those subjects.

Thanks for any advice!
