Trying to understand Viofo Dashcams

Hello,

I've made a post previously asking for advice on which budget dashcam to get, and it seems like everyone agreed on VIofo. But if you think theres a better one for cheaper or ONE WITH BUILT IN PARKING MORE please do let me know!

So i've been doing some more research on Viofo and dashcams as a general, and am looking to get the viofo a229 plus 3 channel dash cam
I've tried looking online but didnt find the answers that i needed.

- does wiring it to the mirror power ( the one that can open garage doors, idk what its called) count as hard wiring? like i would be able to have parking mode turned on?

- if im away from my car (around 4km away), will i be able to look at the app and see whats going on in my car?

- if someone or a car approaches my car will i be able to get notifications and a short video footage? or does it only activate when it detects a crash happening?
