Long story short: I decided to turn off my HUD and I am loving it! This game is beautiful with the HUD, but ever more astonishing without it. I feel more zoned in on boss fights and find dodging easier since I am not constantly checking my healthbar (or my opponent's). Because I don't know how much health they have I just keep beating them until they stop moving and found that is a successful strategy against all opponents.

Long story longer than the short: I had taken a break from Nightreign for a few months and recently came back to it. At that point I had gotten all of the trophies except Beating a NightLord with each Nightfarer at least once. Since I didn't play for a few months and didn't track who I won with, I decided to just go through each character.

Started with Revanant, then Wylder, followed by Dutchess Birb, Recluse, and Executor. When I defeated the NightLord with the Executor - the Platinum Trophy popped!

Typically when I do a HUDless run, I use a relic that slowly restores my HP when my health gets low. The audio/visual cue is a great indicator that I should drink a flask and I have had great success in my endeavors!

List of Nightfarers I have successfully HUDLESS ran (in order of quantity of wins):

- Wylder (Base form bosses, Everdark, and DoN)
- Dutchess (Base form bosses, Everdark, and DoN)
- Nun
- Raider
- Executor

The slowly restores HP relic isn't necessary, but is helpful since...ya know, you can't see your health.

P.S. if you do this and you are constantly going down before the Day 1 Boss - turn back on your HUD.

P.P.S. There is a long story, but that isn't going in this post.

I turned off my HUD in Nightreign... Then I got the Platinum Trophy...
