What Happened to Keira Knightley?

She was hugely famous, from a young age, going back to the early 2000s (even the late 1990s when she appeared in a Star Wars film). I just finished 2005’s “Pride & Prejudice” and she good in it, and “Bend It Like Beckham” and the Pirates movies were huge. She also starred in “Atonement” and then…like nothing besides “The Imitation Game” in 2014.

Knightley was hugely famous and far more established than her British contemporaries (like Carey Mulligan and Felicity Jones, and even her American contemporaries like Anne Hathaway and Emma Stone). She was the biggest British actress under 40 not named Kate Winslet circa 2005.
