Illogical Number display across unit frames

:flairQuestion: Question

So ever since WoW released, the numbers on unit frames were displayed as such

The issue here is, who on earth writes this number as 1177K ? Instead of... You know.... 1.17M

The numbers display seems to follow a rule of 3-5 digits, so you go from
100 > 1,000 > 10,000 > 100k > 1000k > 10M, etc... instead of the more sensible and easier on the eye:
100 > 1,000 (or 1.0k) > 10k > 100k > 1.0M > 10M, etc...
At times, I find that incredibly unreadable. It feels like they do everything to avoid decimals. Especially in that middle part, 1000k to 9999k. That is just a silly way to display numbers.

I used ElvUI for a long time, which displayed it normally, with like.. 2-3 digits, maybe 4 at times, but recently decided to stick with the basic Blizz UI, but I keep noticing there is no way to change this numbers display.

Does anyone know an addon that fixes it? I can't seem to find anything on Curse-Forge that works in Midnight.
