Tempo Traveller in Lucknow – What’s the Ideal Option for a Group Trip?

Planning a group trip from Lucknow and considering booking a tempo traveller. We’re around 10–14 people and trying to decide the best option.

A few things I’m trying to figure out:

• Is a 12 seater or 15 seater more comfortable for long routes?
• What’s the average per km cost in Lucknow right now?
• Is it better to book for local sightseeing first and then outstation separately?
• Are Maharaja / luxury variants worth the extra cost?

Our tentative plan:

• Local sightseeing in Lucknow (Bara Imambara, Rumi Darwaza etc.)
• Then possibly Lucknow to Ayodhya or Varanasi

If anyone has recent experience a tempo traveller in Lucknow, please share:

• Approx pricing
• AC performance in summer
• Driver experience on highways
• Any things to watch out for
