Small snacks business failing after years – shops stopped buying, expired stock piling up. What should we do?
My dad has been running the same snacks manufacturing business for many years. It used to work steadily, but over the last few months, shops have stopped taking stock and a lot of items are coming back expired, causing heavy losses. This is stressful for our family since this business has been our main income for years. We’re thinking about options like instant delivery apps (Blinkit/Zepto), but commissions, expiry rules, and risk of further losses worry us. If you’ve run a food/snacks business or faced a downturn after years of stability, what practical steps would you suggest at this stage? Looking for honest advice.
