I built a plugin that gives Claude Code deep knowledge of Indian law - 32 specialist agents, 235 reference protocols, 11 legal domains
I've been working on this for a while and wanted to share it with the community. It's an open-source Claude Code plugin that covers Indian law end-to-end: contract, criminal, corporate, labour, property, IP, constitutional, consumer protection, ADR, cyber law, and civil procedure.

Why not just ask Claude about Indian law directly?
You can, and it does a decent job. But there's a meaningful gap between "Claude knows some things about Indian law" and "Claude has structured access to 235 curated reference protocols encoding specific statutory provisions, judicial interpretations, procedural rules, and calculation formulas." The plugin bridges that gap.
The architecture looks like this:
User query
--> Master orchestrator classifies by legal domain
--> Routes to 1 of 32 specialist agents
--> Agent loads relevant protocols (statutory text, case law, procedures)
--> Returns structured analysis with citations, risk flags, next steps
Cross-domain queries work too. A property dispute involving a contract breach and civil procedure questions gets routed to multiple specialists, and the orchestrator synthesizes the output.
What's actually in it:
- 32 agents: each one is a specialist in a specific legal sub-domain
- 32 slash commands: /indian-law:analyze-contract, /indian-law:bail-application, /indian-law:file-rti, /indian-law:calculate-limitation, etc.
- 13 skills: reusable analytical capabilities like a labour law calculator (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus with actual statutory formulas)
- 235 protocols: the actual knowledge base. 55 of these are patent law alone.
Honest limitations:
- This is not legal advice. Always consult a real advocate.
- Family law, tax law, and some niche regulatory areas are not yet covered.
- Contributions welcome if you spot gaps or errors.
