Is it possible this may create negative emotions towards feeding or the handler themselves?

Pet Snake Questions

I feed my snake dead rats. pinkies to be exact. although i believe my snake might be ready to go up the next soze rat. anyway i also use silver tongs to feed her and now she kind of relies on seeing those tongs to know where her rat is. i fed her about an hour ago.. she struck at fhe rat initially and it slipped from the tongs and she didnt latch onto the rat. she started looking at me in confusion because i put her lid back on and hoped she woukd find the rat. this made me feel very bad. I tried to guide her towards rhe rat with the tongs and she would glide right ober the rat and chase the tongs. this happened once before about 6 months ago and i was able to succesfully lure her onto the other side of her tank just long enough to pick up the rat and she ate it no problem. i was worried she would have negative memories around that, but she was just fine towards me. this time, i did not use the tongs to lure her. I waited in hopes she would find the rat as luring her around last time gave me a shit Ton of anxiety Id like to avoid bites if possible. it took anout 5 minutes and she still hadnt found it. you can tell shes used to being helped. she seemed very confused and kept looking at me for help. she did nkt show any signs of aggression fowards me. i was taking her lid off again to help her find it because I felt so bad watching her so confused. as soon as I did she found the rat and ate it again with no problems so i did not end up having to help her at all. although she normally takes a little happy jog around her enclosure after eating and seems to play around a bit.. she jusf shrunk back into her hide tonight. Might this possibly cause negative emotion or action around feeding time? might this make her more keen on possibly biting fingers since she was so used to the silver tongs signifying food? Ive had her two years and shes always been a very calm and docile girl. Has never hissed or bluff striked or shown a single sign of aggression. I am worried that this might to change her calm attitude into something more aggressive or to even lose whatever trust she has with me. shes a mbk.
