So, I went on a bing of EC Henry, Corey's Datapad, and Manda-Lore videos and I just kinda went nuts and began writing and developing an AU set 1000 years after the battle of yavin.

The idea, around 300 ABY, the Galactic Alliance began to Fracture. Elements of the former Imperial Remnant, the Fel Empire and Krayt empire broke off to form the New Galactic Empire. Shortly after, the region around Dromond Kaas and Korriban had an independence movement and broke off to form the Korriban Reign, a nation state drawing its history of the ancient Sith Empires that used to originate from those worlds.

Soon the Alliance had completely fractured, with the 2nd Galactic Republic forming shortly after it's dissolvement, and moving to restore order to the Deep Core and surrounding regions. The galaxy would face a Millenia of unrest as the new nation states moved to try and consolidate and solidify their political holdings.

By the time of 998 ABY, tensions were at an all-time high. The 2nd Galactic Republic had been reforming its navy and army, seeking to draw and imagine itself like the Rebellion and the New Republic that came before it. Its ships named after heroes of the Rebellion and New Republic, with designed mixing of Mon Calamari, Kuat, Rendili, Fondor and assistance from Sullust.

The New Galactic Empire, seeking to model itself after the old Empire under Sidius, took designs of their ships from the Palleon Classes and Strident class star destroyers, looking to stand as a beacon of Order and Stability for the northern reaches of the galaxy.

Fashioning itself as the ancient Sith Empire, the Korriban Reign took the designs of the Sith during the Galactic War and Great Galactic War and upscaled and modernized them for a new war to be waged.

And in a strange twist of fate, led by Mand'Alor the Resurgent, formerly Ulrich Skirata, the Resurgent Mandalorian Clans allied itself with the 2nd Galactic Republic, with its new fleets made by Mandal-Motors and Mandal-Hypernautics being retrofitted and upgraded designs of ships they had produced in the past.

War initiated after an NGE Star Destroyer had a manufactured accident, causing the NGE and 2ndGR to go to war, with the Korriban Reign announcing its expansion against the 2nd GR. Seeing an opportunity to test its newfound strength, the Resurgent Mandalorians would wage a new Crusade against the NGE and KR, leading to a 2 vs 2 of galactic proportions.

The Jedi Order of the 2nd Galactic Republic, following the teachings of Luke's Jedi Praxium, would continue to support and go to war with the NGE's Imperial Knight order, and the Korriban Reign's New Sith Order, with a 3-way war breaking out between the three. As white the NGE and KR were ostensibly allies against the Mandalorians and Republic, the Imperial Knights, following their mandate from the Fel Empire, sought to eliminate the Dark Side of the Force. They still came into conflict with the Jedi, as their loyalty to the Empire caused them to wage war on the Republic as well.

By 1000 ABY, the war has waged for 2 years and is already seeing stalemates across all fronts. Massive fleets, armies, battles and devastation not seen since the Clone Wars over 1000 years prior. Fleets blot out the skies, armies swarm the front lines, and the Galaxy once again sees horrific conflict.

Welcome to 1000 Years ABY

(Map was originally made by someone calling it "The Most Detailed Map of the Galaxy." But I can no longer find the original post or anyone to credit it to. If someone is able to find the original creator of the map, please let me know so I can properly credit them. All art and the outlining of the nations and premise of the AU was created by me)
