Parking tips for Valspar Championship at Innisbrook Resort (Palm Harbor 03/16)

hey everyone, if you are headed to the valspar championship at innisbrook resort between 03/16 and 03/22, you definitely want to have your parking figured out ahead of time. palm harbor gets really crowded during tournament week and us-19 traffic can be a total mess.

first thing you should check out is Prked. it is an app where you can rent driveways and garages from locals who live right next to the innisbrook resort. it is way cheaper than the official tournament lots and lets you skip those massive shuttle bus lines by taking a short walk to the gates. honestly, it is the best way to avoid the traffic jams and get in and out of the course quickly.

if you go with the official tournament lots, the gold lot is the only one actually on the resort property but it is about $75 a day and you have to buy it in advance. it is located on the 18th hole of the old north course and opens at 6:30am daily. for something cheaper, the bronze lot at palm harbor university high school and the coral lot are usually around $10 per day from thursday 03/19 to sunday 03/22 and they provide shuttle buses to the course.

the silver lot at carwise middle school is another $10 option for the weekend of 03/21 and 03/22, and it is also where the will call and volunteer parking are located. if you need handicap parking, that is held in the red lot at the st. petersburg college tarpon springs campus near the corner of belcher road and klosterman road. you will need a state issued blue hangtag to use the ada shuttles from there.

the green lot is also at the corner of belcher and klosterman but it has very limited public availability for 2026. this lot is where the official rideshare drop-off and pick-up zone is located near gate 8. if you are taking an uber or lyft, definitely use the belcher road entrance because trying to get dropped off on us highway 19 is basically impossible with all the traffic.

if you are staying nearby, the tournament is pretty bike friendly and has racks at gate 1 and gate 4. it is a great way to skip the shuttles entirely if you are close enough. just remember that everything is digital this year so have your parking passes ready on your phone before you reach the lot because cell signals can get weak with the crowds. us-19 north and south will be packed especially around rush hour, so give yourself at least an extra 45 minutes of travel time. hope this helps you guys out.
