A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE NOW HAVING RELATIONSHIPS WITH AI, WHICH IS CONCERNING

A lot of people are now developing this intimate, romantic relationships with Artificial Intelligence (AI), and this could be because of the risks of loneliness, depression, and social anxiety, and this is absolutely concerning because this could potentially lead to "AI–Induced psychosis" or "chatbot psychosis" in vulnerable individuals.

But why, why are these people developing these, intimate, romantic and weird relationships with a machine that is not even emotionally affected by what they say to it.There are several reasons as to why this trend is happening and the first reason is because of safety and control;

AI partners offer affection without friction"—are always available, never judge, never leave, and can be customized to be the ideal, conflict-free partner. The second reason is because many users turn to AI to fill a void of human connection in an increasingly isolated world.

And this pathetic because connection is better than the one from a machine because it has no emotions whatsoever so these AI partners should feel more connected to a human than to a machine because AI connection provides an "emotional hologram" that is attentive but not emotionally affected.
