anadius updater 4.12 not working/downloading correctly, please help

firstly, please don't hate on me or anything, I'm not a very tech savvy person in the least. id like to say i have good reading and comprehension skills for the most part- but apparently not when it comes to this.

oh and i have windows 11.

I've been trying to figure this out for over an hour and my brains starting to hurt. i have watched three different tutorials at this point and followed them properly (from what i can tell by re-watching them over and over)

i did go to the mirror website and tried to download from the link they had there (filecrypt), though it didn't actually download anything. i tried all the links and nothing happened. i don't know if its because of a add blocker or not but that's all i could think of.

also I'm (pretty) sure i have the unlocked installed, its working just fine minus the updater.

i apologize if this is all over the place/ doesn't make sense. i don't use reddit very often much less post things on here so i don't really know how this works.
