Ser Arlen of pennytree

A knight of the seven kingdoms is the first show set in the ASOIAF universe that I read before the show came out and so far its the best adaptation of anything George has written (including the first 3 seasons of GoT). i just have one gripe, the portrayal of Ser Arlen. Hes too cold in the show. Arlen was aware that he wasnt seen as important by the upper classes but he was extremly proud of what he did and raised Dunk to be the same. Where most knights get stuck with some snot nosed noble brat as a squire because their lord told them so, Arlen willingly took in Dunk and kept him around because he liked him and belived in him. The idea that Arlen would spit at Dunk asking wether he will be a knight seems so out of character
