JPC and etiquette
Just some things I've noticed over the last few days. It took me a bit to get used to his tether but I feel like we as a community are still settling on how to use his tether. When LW dropped his pull was totally non-consensual but I think that's needed for his kit.
I'm finding it way easier to broadcast my wanting to pick someone up by hovering in front of people with it turned on. Let them walk into the abduction zone and choose to tether.
Other than that, because no one ever plays in VC, I find when someone is looking at you directly it means they want a ride. Not a quick look around to check everyone's status - if someone locks onto you for a sec or two they want a ride. When playing other rolls I do the same and its a 50/50 if the JPC gets the hint.
Going back to JW-style saves, I've offered probably 200 people a lifeline when they were low on HP and I was trying to save them. Almost no one took it. I think JW has one up over us here by not requiring the panicking dying teammate fighting for their life to press X to get lifted.
Just my 2 cents.
