Slate pricing - Pay more for less

The Slate will not sell at $27,000+.

A stripped down, bare bones Slate is real attractive at $15,000. The range limitation and lack of amenities are very desirable for many of us, but who wants to pay more for less? It is perfect for a short range work truck without all the crap on it that modern cars have, but it looks like Slate is charging more to get fewer amenities.

If Slate tries to sell their "less for more truck" at $27,500+ the public will realize that anyone who bought one is a fool and laugh when they see a Slate like they used to laugh at Pintos.

Those who want simplicity in a truck also want value, $27,500+ is not value. Slate hopes to sell less for more!
