So small question, what were kurt cobain's morals?

So, i have gotten into nirvana within a few weeks, there is a kid at school who loves nirvana, he has all their records and cds, along with merch (not sure if its official or just mass produced but thats not the problem.). One day i wore glasses that look like the ones kurt wore (i had them for years just remembered i had them), and he always takes them and puts them on, i don't mind but i kinda hate the bragging, today when we were waiting for our busses he took the glasses like normal and he put them on saying something like "i should wear theses as i look like him." while technically he was grunge i feel like he broke a few of kurts morals that kurt has, mostly him not respecting women (he doesn't respect them and has harassed them, along with manipulating them to date him), he has stay away agreements with my friends and doesn't follow them, so idk if i should/have a say in this, can longer term fans tell me if this is bad or am i just being insane?
