was there any perpetrators that were known for positive things in their community and/or having good potential?

im curious, it seems like most of the shooters have a history of disturbing patterns or they’re known for being weird/ quiet. I wonder if there’s any that were liked by their community or considered “normal” that had good potential if they had the proper support system or just simply having friends or a partner that would keep them off that path.
