Local Restaurants/Pubs

Hey everyone, my family and I (American and all adults) are planning to head to London for about a week in late June. I’m the planner for our trip and wanted to get some input on some restaurants/pubs to visit. Not really wanting to see the most touristy locations, I like the hidden gems. I’m really big on history and honestly love English history so any recommendations relating to that would be great.
