How shocking and greedy Upwork has become

I was scrolling through jobs today and saw one that requires 26 connects just to bid. 🤯

Last time I checked, 20 connects was already the highest you’d usually see. Now it’s 26? For a single proposal?

At this point it feels less like “filtering spam” and more like squeezing freelancers for every connect possible. Especially for beginners, this is getting ridiculous.

Is anyone else noticing this trend, or did I just stumble on a new low?
