So what does healed enough look like?

Question

Like the title says, when can we say we've healed enough? I'm not saying being perfect or giving up, just accepting that you're good?

I (40m) have put a ton of work into myself, and It's taken me a lifetime, but over all I've been doing good for years now. I've been successful and I'm someone people respect.

That's not a brag, it's a damned miracle, because they're was a lot there lol. My life burned down around me so many times. I just never actual thought I'd get here.

Yet, I still find myself occasionally doing small things without realizing. Like turning all the lights on in the house when I'm alone for the first time in awhile, or needing a second to remind myself I'm okay once in a rare while.

Not big things, or unhealthy even. Just echoes that don't that have claws anymore.

I had every reason to feel broken, but I don't now.

I feel like that's good enough lol.

What do you think?
