Why is rank games so hard for beginners?

Never made a Reddit post before but started playing league roughly 2 months ago. I’ve gotten to the point where I carry damn near every norm game and swift is too easy even when I’m starting on a new champ. Granted there are some games I get smacked on but still get at least 10 kills every game I play. Most recently dropped 28 kills and 83k damage. At this point I feel I’m ready for ranked, as it doesn’t seem as fun to constantly win this much. Started playing ranked and have only won 4 games out of 40, where my best game only dropped 8 kills ONE time. I’m going 2-15 every game, is there a reason bronze / sliver lobbies are supposed to be this difficult? Every other game I’ve played such as CSGO, Valorant , overwatch, rivals, apex, Fortnite etc bronze / silver is so much easier to get out of. I understand this game has been out for over half my life but I feel like bronze lobbies shouldn’t be this difficult if I’m able to consistently drop 20’s in norms. Do I just keep playing norms for years until I finally understand every single character? I want to play ranked to challenge myself but I just get shi talked by my teammates the whole game. For context I’ve reached high rankings in almost every other game I’ve played except valorant only reaching plat. Is the match making just that difficult?
