Does weed compliment chess?

Unfortunately, I have quit weed during the new year to focus on the busy two years ahead of me with marriage, buying a house, starting a family, and all that good stuff. But the time lines of when I quit weed and when I picked up chess did not overlap. I’m curious, do any tokers here play chess and does it make you play better or worse?
