Brand new Pace Pro 4 won’t charge?

Bought a Pace Pro 4 a couple of weeks ago, first time it’s needed charging and I can’t get it to charge? Put the stupid little adapter on a usb c and it’ll only charge if I squeeze it into the charging port tightly with my fingers, otherwise it just disconnects. What is this piece of shit design?
