Why does specific sounds get so loud for no reason?

I have SFX at max and music at 2, since every sound is really quiet. And then there are some specific sounds (this was the easiest i could find to show up), that arent as quiet as the others, and just make my ears go deaf. Anyone knows why this happens? Tried reinstalling and everything, and this isnt a mod problem since this also happens with the base game, every sound is just so quiet.
