How big is the visual difference between 1080p and 1440p in Tarkov?[Discussion]

Hey everyone,

I currently have a BenQ Zowie XL2546K (240Hz, 24.5″, 1080p) and I’m thinking about upgrading to a 2K monitor. From what I’ve found locally, the ASUS TUF VG27AQL5A (210Hz, 27″, 1440p) seems like the best value for the price.

I’m planning to use it mainly for Escape from Tarkov, and as you know, performance in that game is rough — the difference between 240Hz and 210Hz isn’t huge since my system can’t push super high frame rates anyway:

•	6900 XT

•	Ryzen 7 9800X3D

•	32GB DDR5 6400

So my question is — do you think this counts as a real upgrade? Aside from the obvious quality difference, I feel like I’m going from a very fast 1080p monitor to a slightly slower 2K monitor.

What’s your take? I’ve never seen a 2K screen in person, so I’m not sure how much better the picture really is.
