How do I get over not enjoying building decks?

Maybe it's just cause I'm lazy, but I feel like I don't enjoy building commander decks. In theory it seems cool, but when I actually do, and I look for cards and put them all together, it feels tedious and boring to me. I enjoy having strong decks and being able to have cool combos, but creating those combos myself and searching for the perfect card to add doesn't give me much satisfaction. Is there any remedy for this?
