Pre-employment drug test at Hyundai dealership in CA – do they test for THC?

i just got hired as a receptionist at a hyundai dealership in downey, ca. they told me i need to take a pre-employment drug test before starting.

i don’t use any hard drugs, but i do use marijuana recreationally off the clock. i know california has newer laws about cannabis and employment, but i’m not sure how dealerships handle it.

for anyone who works at a dealership in california — do they usually care about thc for non-driving positions like receptionist? or are they mainly screening for harder substances?
