Is it just me or is the controls super wonky?!

It's killing my enjoyment just a little but the controls feel so clunky and weird, especially when driving. I finshed the first boss and steering the boat feels like a second boss in itself. That paired with the weird camera is headache inducing and triggering my motion sickness just a bit. It's feels like trying to push rejecting magnets together idk.

Am I alone in this issue? Is there any fixes or do I have to thug it out? I'm playing on a steamdeck if that matters.
