Small things change your POV of life
Today is Valentine’s Day. Soon we’ll be seeing Taba Chake, listening to love songs under pink lights, surrounded by people who mean everything to us. And it made me realize something.
Hold on to your close ones.
Hug them. Kiss them. Show your love. Express yourself.
Life is unpredictable. No one knows what will happen someday.
Thank them. Thank them for being there for you, always.
These tiny things feel normal, almost invisible, because they’ve been giving their best since day one and you’ve gotten used to it.
As a single person myself, I know how lucky it is to have someone who takes care of you. Someone who fights with you and fights for you.
Call your loved ones. Express your feelings. Boy or girl it doesn’t matter.
If you’re feeling happiness with someone in this world, hold on to them.
The universe is moving fast. People are changing. We’re shifting toward more individual, independent lives. And maybe someday, not everyone will stay.
But if you have someone right now : Text them. Call them. Meet them. Hug them. Kiss them. Hold their hand. Take a walk. Go for dinner.
Enjoy Taba Chake’s music while holding them close.
Just imagine it a ground full of loved ones, full of love, under soft pink lights.
I found my person today. And I’m going to take that step. I’m going to confess my feelings.
I don’t care about the outcome. But I will confess.
You should too.
Stop letting your brain come between your heart. Stop turning love into something purely psychological.
Love is about feelings. It’s about the happiness you feel while talking. While eating together. While simply being there.
Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone.
