Parking tips for Strangelove: The Depeche Mode Experience at APEX Everett (Everett 02/14)
hey everyone, figured i'd share some parking tips for the strangelove depeche mode experience at apex everett on 02/14. honestly parking downtown can be a huge headache especially since the show falls on valentine's day this year so expect a lot of people to be out at the nearby restaurants like katana or lorenzo's.
you should definitely check out Prked first. it's an app where you can rent driveways or garages from locals right next to apex everett. it's way cheaper than the standard lots and you get to skip the traffic jam when the show ends because you're not stuck in a big parking garage. it's a super short walk to the venue and makes the whole night way more chill since you have a guaranteed spot.
if you decide to look for other spots just know the venue lot is tiny and fills up fast. street parking on everett ave and rockefeller is usually free on saturdays but will be packed with the holiday dinner crowd. if you can't find anything on the street the everpark garage on hoyt ave is usually a safe bet although it's about a ten minute walk away. there is also the snohomish county parking garage on wall street but sometimes they have weird hours on weekends so check the signs before you leave your car. avoid the private lots for the surrounding businesses like the ones near the bank because they will tow you in a heartbeat. if you're driving in on i-5 the exit for everett ave is always a mess around 7:00 pm so try to get there early to find a spot. also remember that downtown has a lot of one-way streets so if you see a spot grab it because circling back takes forever. keep an eye out for any two-hour limit signs even though it's a weekend just to be safe.
hope this helps and have a great time at the show!
