Dark vs Dark against Vega and we take him out with a single attempt. After spending some time in the tunnels again mining, which took way too long to get what we need. But finally we got our odd keystone, and evo stones. Also like 3-5x of like different plates for whatever reason and not a single dark one but at least we have plenty of heart scales.

Anyway, onto the battle. We start with an unburden liepard w/ a normal gem to land a big fake out their own liepard and then use play rough which lands on his spiritomb coming in. We swap to houndoom to take the will o wisp we knew was coming and activate its flash fire. With that and a flame plate, we take out spirtomb and liepard with a single heat wave on each. He sends in mega absol, and the tide turns in has favor quite a bit with his speed. We swapped to sableye to avoid a close combat and got off a night shade while it swords danced. From here we pretty much end up swapping in monsters to be fainted to close combat and drop its defense in between liepard using fake out until we can KO it. Liepard gets taken out by pawniard but not before it takes some health off him too. And then with our own absol, with super luck and razor claw, we crit and play rough the rest of his team in one hits.

And now once again we take the long trek over to blizzard city for the 3rd gym. And I have a feeling we’ll be in for a world of hurt there with pinsir but we should be able to manage
