Ovary “sticking to fundus of uterus” + history of subfertility – has anyone else had this?
Hi everyone,
I was recently told that my ovary was “sticking to the fundus of the uterus.” From what I understand, that means my ovary is adhered to the top part of my uterus, likely due to scar tissue (adhesions).
I also have a history of subfertility (difficulty conceiving in the past), so I’m wondering if the two could be related.
Has anyone else been told their ovary was stuck or adhered to their uterus?
• What caused it in your case (endometriosis, infection, previous surgery, cysts, etc.)?
• Did it affect your ovulation or fertility?
• Did you need surgery to fix it, or were you able to conceive without intervention?
• Did it cause pelvic pain for you?
I’d really appreciate hearing other people’s experiences because I’m trying to understand what this might mean long term.
Thank you 💛
