Valentines

So this girl I’ve been dating for 4 months and all. I’ve been a pretty bad guy in my past. I used to do things unquestionable with load of women and I used to enjoy those. Not until I realized what love really is. So I fell in love with a girl some time ago and I really felt it. We dated for almost 2 years and not once have I ever had the edge to sleep with her. She was a gem and I wanted to keep it that way. But it soon ended (not telling why) and we drifted apart. I took all necessary measures to get over her, heal and continue living life.

Now with this new girl, I have taken it too myself to better my relationship and do all the right things and give it my all.

Okay backstory done.

She’s a big gifter type of person. So she loves getting me small gifts and all. I’m not that type of person, I’m more sentimental and an avid writer/poet. I’m glad she’s into those things.

So she made some origami (paper craft) for me and I realized she loved that too. So for valentines I decided to make her something. I made her a bunch of heart envelopes (12 exactly) all with tiny little Easter eggs and details (extremely personal). I also made her a bouquet of her favorite flowers out of origami. I hand picked a rose and daisy to give to her when I see her. I bought her a baggy t shirt with my fingerprints (tiny ones at the bottom to not stick out). I also bought two canvas and hand paint so we can do the hand print thingy on them. I printed our photos together and made a cute collage, framed it and added some glam. I bought her, her favorite chocolates and snacks, put it on a nice all white confetti box. I drew her favorite character in chibi form and small cute hello kitty stickers to paste everywhere.

My problem

Now I’m a bit worried about the rest of the day, I’m out of money to take her out on lunch or dinner (not that I had a budget to begin with). The crafty things I got from my teacher friend so didn’t spend much in those. I’m afraid she’s gonna be underwhelmed because she actually bought me material things. Is this gesture of mine enough and how do I avoid the lunch thingy because I genuinely can’t afford it. She’s from money (I’m most def not) and big gifts are her things.
