#GEIII [National] Conservative Party General Election Campaign Launch
Today was the beginning of the third MHOP UK general election with all of the parties aiming to start off the campaign on the front foot. The Conservative Party which has gone into the campaign on the front foot as they are the incumbent government leading the caretaker government at the end of last term and topping the polls more than 10% ahead of the second placed party. The Conservative’s held a campaign launch event today in London to promote their parties general election manifesto and announce their candidates for the regions.
The event began with the Prime Minister and Conservative Party Leader Iceman, taking to the stage to give a speech on the manifesto. “Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to welcome you all to the launch of the Conservative Party General Manifesto and our parties regional candidates!” he proclaimed to a large ovation from the audience. “We recognise that now is the time for change, we must put forward a strong, positive, and ambitious plan to the nation to kickstart the rebuild of our country. This is what we aim to achieve and with the foundation we laid in the caretaker government, with our strong list of members and the ambitious manifesto we have, our nation will be on the fast track to robust growth within no time.”
“Our mission is to create a productive and robust economy, restore our elite fighting armed forces, cement our position as a strong power internationally, protect our borders and keep our streets safe, restore national pride, celebrate our heritage and culture, and create a better country to raise a family. To build a robust economy, we will negotiate new trade agreements with nations like India, Canada, and the nations of Latin America. We will introduce tax cuts so the average person has more money in their pocket, this will help stimulate growth on top of existing development and business growth. We are restoring our nation’s armed forces through meeting the 3% of GDP on defence budget by 2030 and 5% by 2035 in line with agreed NATO spending commitments. This will provide additional tens of billions to the defence budget that will fund research and development, procurement, recruitment and retention that will build our forces up to one of the strongest in the world.”
“We will cement our position on the international stage through our commitment and engagement in alliances like NATO and the UN, we will also continue efforts to build relationships with other nations and promote peace in conflict areas. We are going to protect our borders through introducing tougher immigration measures and a stronger presence in the English channel. This will help tackle the increase of illegal migration to the UK stopping those that pose a threat whilst ensuring that those who can and will contribute to the UK can enter. Our mission to protect our nation’s streets from crime will be achieved through the recruitment of an additional 10,000 police officers by 2030, and refocusing police efforts away from policing tweets to policing the streets. With an increased police presence in communities and faster responses to incidents, it will get the criminals that commit crime off our streets and dissuade crime from occurring in the first place.”
“We will restore national pride and celebrate our heritage and culture through promoting celebration of national culture, support community ownership of local monuments, reforming the BBC, and empowering communities to utilise unused land for good. This will enable stronger local ownership and management of their local communities, and celebrate the true heritage and culture of our nation that we love. We will support new existing families, through expanding energy production, making childcare affordable, improving education standards and opportunities, and allowing easier opportunities for home ownership for families. This will improve the opportunities available to parents and their children, allow families more opportunities to find their family home, and reduce the bills they face in keeping the heat and lights on as well as providing for their children. With our policies and measures, we will create a stronger and more prosperous nation for families, businesses, communities, and regions that will benefit everyone.”
“Now I would like to introduce our regional candidates, standing in Scotland we have former Prime Minister BasedChurchill, standing in Northern Ireland we have our incumbent MP CraftyPossibility, in Wales we have none other than myself Sir-Iceman. In Northern England we have our incumbent MP and Chancellor of the Exchequer LeChevalierMal-Fait, In Central England we have our incumbent MP and Secretary of State for Home and Justice Lord-Sydenham.
